In 2016 our family decided that it was time to adventure into a new state to call our home. After many weeks of research we decided to make Texas our home. We packed up three households of family, nine of us in total and headed for the great Lone Star State. We love the friendly people here in Texas and see how family centered Round Rock is. In search for places to take the grandkids during these hot summers, we discovered that there was a need for more indoor places to play here in Round Rock. We also discovered that the closed Children's Museums were 20-70 miles away. We felt that our new community needed a great place were kids and families needed a place that they can play, learn, and connect. My kids had many fond memories of a Children's Museum in Irvine, CA called Pretend City which inspired our idea. Based on our experiences from back home, we decided that a kid sized pretend community was exactly what we needed. This is where the idea of LEAP Discovery Center was birthed. We have committed to bring Round Rock a Children's Museum where children can get hands on learning, families can connect with their community, and children can develop their passions and talents. We hope that you will join us in this journey, and share your ideas and feedback. We have set a goal to have our grand opening July 1, 2022. We have started the countdown and look forward to connecting with you and your family.
